FCP
In 2016, Helma Gostar obtained the full FCP license (Fixed Communication Provider) from CRA in Iran to deploy fixed telecommunication network in the whole country.
Objective is to reach 3 million customers in 5 years.
MVNO
In 2016, Helma Gostar gained MVNO preliminary license (Mobile Virtual Network Operator).
Helma Gostar is leading a consortium of Iranian companies including Helma Gostar Khavaremianeh Company Ltd, Transatel, Iran Shipping Investments LLP, Hamrah Electronic Ofogh Kish Ltd (Pishkhan) with 16000 branches in the whole country, Andisheh Tejarat Mihan Company, Information and communication Technology Pars Investment Company (Pvt.), Azmoon Keyfiat which has been created to manage and develop this MVNO License.
Our foreign partner, Transatel, has 15 years of experience in MVNO business within Europe and will advise Helma Gostar’s team in this project in terms of strategy, business plan, organizational processes, technical infrastructure and MNO negotiation.
Transatel launched over 150 MVNOs and currently operates over 80 MVNOs (with more than 1.7m subscribers) by working directly with Europe’s major MNOs.
Transatel has received the Best MVNA award at the MVNO World Congress for 4 consecutive years since 2013.
Our objective is to provide bundles of Data only SIM cards and value added services as part of a B2B proposition with Institutional and commercial partners to offer dedicated solution to end customers.
Fixed 4G/LTE
Helma Gostar won in June 2016 the Fixed 4G/LTE license (2300 MHz, 30 MHz) from Communications Regulatory Authority of Iran.
Helma Gostar is leading a consortium of Iranian companies including SabaNet, Fanava and Azmoon Keyfiat which has been created to manage and develop the Fixed 4G/LTE License.
- With this 10 year Fixed 4G/LTE License Helma Gostar will cover:
- By the end of 2nd year: All big cities such as Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Isfahan, Karaj, Shiraz, Ahwaz and Qom
- By the end of 3rd year: Main city of each province
- By the end of 4th year: Cities with more than 200,000 population
Helma Gostar plans to install a network of 8 000 BTS (Base Transceiver Station) allowing 20 Mb/s for every users.
ICT Mega Projects
Helma Gostar strategy consists of ICT Mega Projects which include Fix, Wi-Fi or mobile (MVNO) communication with payment, loyalty or other dedicated value added services to great Iranian institutions or ministries.
Now Helma Gostar is negotiating with Islamic Azad University and Ministry of Health to launch these mega projects.
